We publish general guides about how diamonds, laboratory-grown diamonds, gemstones, pearls, and precious metals should be described, and what to read in a listing.
What we do not do
Jewelry Diamonds is the name of this site. It is not a store or a jeweler, and it is not a claim about any product. We are not a jeweler, appraiser, or gemological lab, and we do not grade, appraise, or verify any stone or metal. We do not sell anything, and we do not publish prices, deals, ratings, rankings, or product picks. We make no sourcing claims. Commissions do not change our guidance. We do not accept payment to recommend a retailer, brand, or product.
Where the guides come from
Sourced lines come from the FTC Jewelry Guides (16 CFR Part 23), the FTC's In the Loupe business guide, the FTC's 2018 Federal Register notice, the National Stamping Act (15 U.S.C. 295 to 297), and GIA's care guides, each linked on the page that uses it. None of them endorses this site or any product. Our own tips are marked as ours.
